Before logging

Decide what the number means to you in this moment. Use roughly consistent personal anchors over time; one person’s 7 does not need to mean another person’s 7. A note is optional.

Log a mood

  1. From the main navigation, choose the centre Log Mood action. The app opens Log Today’s Mood.
  2. Move the slider to a score from 1 to 10. Current labels are Very Bad for 1–2, Bad for 3–4, Neutral for 5–6, Good for 7–8, and Very Good for 9–10.
  3. Optionally type a short note in Add a quick note (optional)….
  4. Choose Quick Save for the score, note, and current time. For more context, chooseAdd Details (Emotions, Body, etc.) instead.

Expected result

In local-only mode, the saved entry normally remains available in History for its saved date while this device’s local app data remains intact. Local data can still be lost through storage-quota pruning, data clearing, corruption recovery, uninstalling the app, or losing the device. With Cloud Backup enabled, saving while offline may instead queue the entry for synchronization. A queued entry may not remain visible after you open or reload History and can reappear after synchronization succeeds. Its absence from History does not by itself prove that the save failed.

Fix a save problem

  1. Confirm you moved the slider if the default value does not match your intended score.
  2. Read any plan-limit message. The current Free configuration permits two entries per day; do not delete a valuable entry merely to work around the limit.
  3. If the button remains busy, wait briefly and keep the app open.
  4. With Cloud Backup enabled, open Settings → Data & Storage → Advanced and check both places: Pending Sync counts pending or syncing operations, while the separateFailed Sync Operations (N) section appears only when operations have failed. Reconnect, keep the app open, and wait for synchronization to settle.
  5. If the item remains pending after sync attempts, or Failed Sync Operations (N)appears, follow the sync recovery article. Failed operations require its Retry and manual recovery flow.
  6. Automatic local database recovery can clear queued and failed operations before you can act. If the app reports or appears to have recovered local data, or both Pending Sync andFailed Sync Operations unexpectedly clear while you are still uncertain about the mood, do not create it again. Preserve the app data that remains and contact support.

Important boundary

Vibbrancy’s 1–10 value is a personal check-in, not a clinical scale. It does not diagnose, measure illness severity, prove a cause, or predict what will happen. Free-plan daily entry limits can prevent another save.

Contact support

If the safe recovery steps do not work, email hello@vibbrancy.app. Include your platform, app version, the visible error text, what you were doing, and whether you were online. For sync trouble, you may include the app’s copied sync summary after reviewing it.

Never send a password, PIN, recovery code, access token, private mood or journal content, health details, or raw diagnostics that contain secrets. Vibbrancy support will never ask for them.
