Before editing
Find the entry by its date in History. Verify the saved date and clear any active semantic search before concluding that an entry is missing.
Edit and save
- Open History and choose the relevant Day, Week, Month, or Year view.
- Select the entry card. Selecting normally opens Edit Entry; a long press can instead enter deletion selection mode when that setting is enabled.
- Change the score, note, timestamp, emotions, triggers, body information, movement, or other available fields.
- Review the timestamp and all changes, then choose Save.
- Return to the entry’s date and reopen it to verify the stored values.
Expected result
The existing entry updates rather than creating another entry. Available fields and plan gates are the same kind of boundaries used by detailed logging. With cloud backup active, the update is synchronized or added to the local queue.
If the edit is missing
- Make sure you chose Save rather than closing the modal.
- Refresh the relevant History date, then reopen the entry.
- If Offline or a pending count is visible, keep the device copy and use Sync Now after reconnecting.
- Do not delete and recreate the entry unless you knowingly accept losing its existing context and identity.
Important boundary
An offline edit changes the local record first. When Cloud Backup is enabled, the update may remain pending until sync succeeds. Do not clear app or site data while the only confirmed copy or an unsynced update is local.
Contact support
If the safe recovery steps do not work, email hello@vibbrancy.app. Include your platform, app version, the visible error text, what you were doing, and whether you were online. For sync trouble, you may include the app’s copied sync summary after reviewing it.
Never send a password, PIN, recovery code, access token, private mood or journal content, health details, or raw diagnostics that contain secrets. Vibbrancy support will never ask for them.
